KEEP WARM IN WINTER is a scheme set up by Lewes Council to offer residents insulation grants in the owner occupier and private rented sector. The scheme is open to people within the Lewes District Council area and covers loft and cavity wall insulation.

WARM HEALTHY HOMES PARTNERSHIP (WHHP) If you live within the Council boundaries of Southend, Thurrock, Castle Point, Basildon, or Rochford you will fall under the wings of The Warm & Healthy Homes Partnership. – A local authority consortium working to provide healthy home loans, energy grants and other discounted offers in order to help residents repair their homes and install a range of energy efficiency measures.

WARMTH FOR 1000 has been set up by Elmbridge, Guildford, Hart, Runnymede, Spelthorne, Waverley and Woking Councils to provide insulation to homes within their boundaries. The scheme is targeting hard to treat properties as well as the more traditional housing stock installing measures ranging from external wall insulation to loft and cavity wall insulation.

South East & West London Coldbusters provide grants to vulnerable private sector households in the South, East and West London Boroughs. They install a range of measures including new and replacement central heating, insulation measures, double glazing and electrical works including whole house rewires. Running since 2004 we have distributed over £15m of local authority grant funds to over 5000 households across South West and East London.

North and West Kent Coldbusters work with 8 local authorities in the North and West Kent Private Sector Housing Partnership delivering a wide range of energy efficiency grants and loans to offer:

•  £1500 towards solar thermal insulation and Solar thermal insulation through Sunrise scheme.
• Provide grants for biomass boilers and log stoves to vulnerable households off the gas grid through the Coldbusters Rural Homes Scheme.
• Provide grants to provide external and internal solid wall insulation through the Coldbusters Hard to Treat scheme.
• Provide grants for standard energy efficiency measures to vulnerable households through the Coldbusters Energy Grants scheme.

East Kent Housing Partnership works with 5 local authorities in East Kent - providing loans and grants to low income households for energy efficiency measures. Targeting park homes in the Canterbury City Council area offering a whole house solution to insulate an entire property and reduce energy costs by up to 50%.
